Free tools — provided “as is”
The calculators and Φ AI tools are provided for convenience and education. Their outputs are estimates, not engineering sign-off. You are responsible for verifying any result against the relevant standards (IPC, JEDEC, your fab’s capabilities) before committing it to a design or a fabrication run. We disclaim liability for decisions made solely on tool output.
No guarantee of accuracy
AI-generated explanations may contain errors. We design the tools to cite their sources and flag uncertainty, but you must independently confirm anything load-bearing. The tools do not create an engineering or professional relationship.
Design services
Paid design and simulation engagements are governed by a separate written agreement (scope, fees, deliverables, IP, and confidentiality). Nothing on this site constitutes an offer or a binding quote; indicative fee bands are estimates pending a signed statement of work.
Intellectual property
Site content, branding, and the Φ marks are owned by PhyCircuitBoard. The TRM software is provided under its own license (Adam Research). You retain ownership of inputs you submit to the tools.
Acceptable use
- Don’t abuse, overload, or attempt to reverse-engineer the tools or APIs.
- Don’t submit content you lack the right to share.
- Don’t use the site to violate any law or third-party right.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhyCircuitBoard is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or its free tools.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
